Comments:  1907 cent mintage is the highest for the entire series.   Collectors should always seek out the most attractive and well struck examples in order to maintain the goal of an investment grade collection.  Collectors should be competent in grading and not soley rely on grading service opinions, since grading standards have fallen.  

The number of die varieties for 1907 is extensive and is predominantly composed of repunched dates, with varieties 1, 2 and 26 being included in the top 100 die varieties for the series.  Variety 13, which features a repunched date and two sets of digits in the denticles, is an exciting variety that should be included in the top 100 die varieties.
