Obverse 19 is identified by date placement at LE and date repunching that features initial date impressions to the west of the base of the 1, to the northwest within the lower loop of the 9, to the northwest within the 0 and to the north above the top of the 7.

Reverse S develops the following die cracks:
1.  Die crack from the rim at 2:15 extends downward through the right wreath.
2.  Die crack from the rim at 6:30 extends upward through the arrow quill, olive leaves and oak leaves of the left wreath.
3.  Die crack from the denticles at 9:00 extends upward through the oak leaves of the left wreath.
4.  Die crack from the rim at 10:30 extends downward through the left wreath.  A die crack splits from this die crack within the wreath at 10:00 and extends upward through the left wreath.
Rev. S.2:  Die crack #1 has become more severe and has now progressed to the rim at 3:45, where a bi-level field area has developed.  In addition, die crack #4 has become more severe and has now progressed to the rim at 8:45.

Comments:  The Obverse 19 initial date impressions indicate two separate initial date impressions.  One initial date impression was located to the west with respect to the final date placement, as evidenced by the initial date impression located to the west of the base of the 1 and the second initial date impression was located to the northwest with respect to the final date placement, as evidenced by the initial date impressions within the lower loop of the 9, within the 0 and above the top of the 7.

During early January 2022, David Killough submitted an example of Variety 17 that featured a more advanced Reverse S die state and has been plated below as the Variety 17a Plate Coin in order to capture the Reverse S.2 Die State.  It should be noted that during the Reverse S.2 Die State, only the die cracks that originated from 2:15 and 10:30 became more severe; whereas the remaining die cracks did not change in severity.

Obverse 19 will later return to service paired with Reverse AAAQ during the 1907 Variety 94 Die Pairing.
