Clash Mark Through (C)ENT

The second usage of Obverse 18.  Obverse 18 is identified by date placement at C and date repunching that features initial date impressions to the south below the base of the 1 digit as well as to the southeast below the lower right side and base of the 9 digit.  Obverse 18 has acquired a clash mark between feathers 5 and 6 from a clashing event during its previous service.
Obv. 18.2:  Obverse 18 has acquired a die line from '(U)NITED' that extends into the field.
Obv. 18.3:  Obverse 18 has acquired additional clash marks in front of the eye of Miss Liberty from a clashing event with Reverse AAAR.  In addition, the die line from the 18.2 Die State has become less bold.

Reverse AAAR is rotated 3 degrees clockwise.
Rev. AAAR.2:  Reverse AAAR has acquired a clash mark through (C)ENT from a clashing event with Obverse 18.

Comments:  The reverse rotation for the Variety 95 Plate Coin was not originally noted, since the rotation was less than 5 degrees.  However, the die rotation of the Variety 95a Plate Coin was measured at 3 degrees clockwise and I suspect the Variety 95 Plate Coin will exhibit the same rotation.

Obverse 18 was previously in service paired with Reverse R during the 1907 Variety 16 Die Pairing.  The most obvious difference between Reverse R and Reverse AAAR is that Reverse AAAR does not exhibit a clash mark just above the upper arrowhead that Reverse R exhibits.  A second, but much less obvious difference between Reverse R and Reverse AAAR, is the hubbing depth of both reverses when they were created.  Although both Reverse R and Reverse AAAR are well hubbed, Reverse R is the slightly more deeply hubbed of the two.  The deeper hubbing of Reverse R is manifested in more pronounced outlines above the top right tip of the shield compared to Reverse AAAR.  The images below illustrate the differences between the outlines above the right shield points of Reverse R and Reverse AAAR:
