Reverse AAAO Die Crack Mapping

Obverse 94 is identified by date placement at C and date repunching that features initial date impressins to the south of the base of the 1 digit; to the southwest within the upper loop of the 9 digit; to the southwest within the 0 digit.

Reverse AAAO has acquired clash marks from a previous service and has cracked.

Comments:  Reverse AAAO was previously in service prior to Variety 92 and the clash marks that Reverse AAAO acquired were from this previous assignment.  Obverse 94 exhibits an early die state, whereas Reverse AAAO exhibits discernible die flow lines.

Variety 92 was first identified by David Killough, who submitted the above plate coin during late June 2024 for inclusion in this book based on the date repunching of Obverse 94.
