Obverse 26 is identified by repunching on the 6 to the northeast and date placement at RH.
Reverse AA is yet to be observed with any die markers.
Comments: The repunching on the 6 of obverse 26 is similar to that of obverse 5 of the 1896 variety 1 die pairing, which exhibits repuncing on the 6 to the east.
The
images I have used from Rick Snow indicate additional repunching to the
east on the 18 digits. Prior to composing this variety page, I
contacted Rick in regards to the additional repunching and I will make
the necessary changes to this page if the additional repunching is
confirmed.
