Obverse 3 is identified by date placement at RH; Class V pivot hub doubling on RTY of LIBERTY, designer's initial and ribbon; die line from the eye to the nose; date repunching that features initial date impressions to the south under the left side of the upper loop and within the lower loop of the first 8, to the south under the left side of the base of the 6 and to the south under the left side of the upper loop of the last 8.  Obverse 3 has acquired clash marks from a clashing event with Reverse C.

Reverse C has acquired clash marks through the C of CENT and to the right of the denomination from a clashing event with Obverse 3.  Reverse C develops the following die cracks:
1.  Die crack from the right side of the shield to the top of the right wreath.
2.  Die crack from the rim at 9:15 upward through the left wreath.

Comments:  The class V pivot hub doubling of Obverse 10 features clockwise rotation with a pivot point at 12:00.

Obverse 3 will later be paired with Reverse T during the Variety 18 die pairing.
