Clash Mark Through C Of CENT


Obverse 26 is identified by date placement at B with date repunching that features initial date impressions to the south below the base of the 1, to the south below the base of the 9 and to the north above the ball of the 9, to the north and south within the 0, to the north within the lower loop of the 6 and to the south within the upper loop of the 6.  Obverse 26 has acquired a clash mark in front of the eye as well as above the first three feathers from a clashing event with Reverse Z.

Reverse Z has acquired a clash mark through the C of CENT from a clashing event with Obverse 26.  Reverse Z develops the following die cracks:
1.  Die crack from the denticles at 12:30 through the right side of the shield.
2.  Die crack from the rim at 7:00 through the arrow quill and to the ribbon knot.
3.  Radial die crack from the rim at 9:30 into the wreath.

Comments:  Obverse 26 will later be in service paired with Reverse AI during the Variety 34 die Pairing.
