Off-Center Clash Marks

Obverse 37 is observed with date placement at C.

Reverse AJ is identified by two sets of off-center clash marks that are located from the center of the O of ONE that extend to the top of the E of CENT and between the NE of ONE.

Comments:   The Reverse AJ off-center clash marks are the impressions of the denticles from another working die.  Prevailing opinion indicates that a hardened working die was impressed against the Reverse AJ working die for the purpose of determining the hardness of the Reverse AJ working die..
