Reverse AAL Die Crack Mapping

Obverse 64 is identified by date placement at C and an artifact extending through the first hair curl.  Obverse 64 is observed with a digit punch artifact above the base of the 2 digit and a repaired top of 'STAT(E)S'.  Obverse 64 has developed die cracking and rim breakage between 2:15 and 3:45.

Reverse AAL has developed die cracking.

Comments:  Obverse 64 is yet another obverse that features a digit punch artifact above the base of the 2 digit, though the digit punch artifact of Obverse 64 is much less prominent than usually seen.

Variety 62 was first identified by Jamie Morris, who submitted the above plate coin during late December 2023 for inclusion in this book.

Plate Coin:  Jamie Morris Collection, AU50
