Obverse 45 Die Crack Mapping

Obverse 45 is observed with date position located at right edge of denticle.  Obverse 45 has cracked, with the section between 7:45 and 8:15 representing the most severe die cracking.
Obverse 45.2:  The bi-level field area located between 7:15 and 8:45 has increased in size.

Reverse AS is rotated 6 degrees counter clockwise.

Comments:  The Obverse 45 die cracking between 7:45 and 8:15 was initially identified in 'The Cud Book' by Sam Thurman and Arnold Margolis, with a reference number of ICN-1862-14 Ret.  However, the section of die cracking between 7:45 and 8:15 represents severe die cracking and is not a retained break as indicated in the Thurman and Margolis book.
