Retained Cud Between 9:15 and 9:45

Die Break Left Of The Right Arm Of T Of CENT


Obverse 29 is observed with date placement at C.  Obverse 29 develops the following die cracks:
1.  Die crack from the denticles at 9:00 connecting the tops of NITE of UNITED.
2.  Die crack from the denticles at 10:30 connecting the tops of TE of STATES.

Reverse AC develops a retained cud between 9:15 and 9:45.  Reverse AC develops a small die break to the left of the right arm of T of CENT and the following die cracks:
1.  Die crack from the denticles at 7:30 into the first olive leaf.
2.  Die crack from the retained cud upward through the wreath to the rim at 11:00.

Comments:  Variety 27 was first identified by this author during late December 2017.
