Obverse 38 is identified by date placement at RH, a die line above 'UN(ITE)D' and date repunching that features initial date impressions to the southwest within both loops of the 6.  Obverse 38 has acquired a clash mark in front of the eye of Miss Liberty from a clashing event with Reverse AM.

Reverse AM has acquired a clash mark through (C)ENT from a clashing event with Obverse 38.

Comments:  The placement of the Obverse 38 initial date impressions indicate an initial date impression to the southwest with respect to the final date position, though only the initial date impressions of the 6 are evident.
