Obverse 7 is identified by date placement at LE, defect top / broken base 3 and date repunching that features initial date impressions to the north above the flag and left base, as well as to the south below the flag of the 1; to the north above the top of the first 8; to the north above the top and within the upper loop, as well as to the south below the upper loop, within the lower loop and below the base of the second 8; to the west within the lower loop and to the south below the base of the 3.  Obverse 7 is observed with numerous die polish lines.

Reverse G is observed with numerous die polish lines and die lines located within the vertical shield bars.

Comments:  The 3 digit of Obverse 7 features a defective top and broken base, both of which originate from the digit punch that was in service during 1883 and are not artifacts of initial date impressions.
