Obverse 12 is identified by date placement at RE, a lint hub-through within the beads of the necklace and date repunching that features initial date impressions to the south below the serif of the 1 and within the lower loop of the 8.  Obverse 12 has developed moderately heavy die flow lines, rim breaks between 7:30 and 8:30 and has acquired clash marks between feathers 6, 7, 8 and 9 from a clashing event with Reverse L. Obverse 12 has developed the following die cracks:
1.  Die crack segment connecting the tops of 'A(MER)ICA'.
2.  Die crack segment connecting the bases of the 1, 8 and 6 of the date.
3.  Die crack segment connecting the tops of 'UNITE(D)' and '(ST)ATES'.
4.  Die crack segment connecting the tops of 'STA(TE)S'.

Reverse L is rotated 6 degrees clockwise and is in a similar die state as Obverse 12, with the advancement of moderately heavy die flow lines.  Reverse L is observed with die lines to the left of (C)ENT and has acquired clash marks through (C)ENT and to the right of the denomination from a clashing event with Obverse 12.  Reverse L has developed the following die cracks:
1.  Die crack from the rim at 12:45 to the top right corner of the shield and continuing through the horizontal shield bars to the left wreath.
2.  Die crack crack from the rim at 3:15 downward through the middle and lower arrowheads to the right ribbon end.
3.  Die crack extends from die crack #2 at the tip of the first oak oak leaf and continues upward through the right wreath.
4.  Die crack from the rim at 8:45 downward through the wreath to the wreath stem.
5.  Die crack extends from die crack #4 at the first oak leaf and continues upward to the acorn at 9:00.
6.  Die crack extends upward from the tip of the outer oak leaf at 9:00 and continues upward, where it splits at 10:00.

Comments:  Obverse 12 was given the moniker 'String Of Pearls' by Rick Snow due to the fact that the lint hub-through of Obverse 12 seems to string the beads of the necklace together.
