The second usage of Obverse 12.  Obverse 12 is identified by date placement at RE and a circular die line within the headress.

Reverse AAK may be identified by two die lines between the right wreath and the denticles at 2:15 and an artifact extending off the outer edge of the left wreath at 9:15.  Reverse AAK has acquired clash marks.

Comments:  Variety 42 represents the second usage of Obverse 12, which was previously in service paired with Reverse AC during the 1865 Fancy 5 Variety 13 Die Pairing.

Variety 42 was first identified by this author during mid February 2020.
