Obverse 2 has acquired a clash mark and has developed die chips around '(L)I(B)E(R)TY' and the following die crack:
1.  Die crack from the rim at 7:30 extends into the portrait.

Reverse B is identified by a localized area of die rust around '(UNI)TED' and into a portion of the left durum wheat stalk.  Reverse B lacks any clash marks, which most likely indicate that Obverse 2 was in service prior to Variety 1.

Comments:  Variety 1 was first identified by Jason Huffman during early 2023 and his reference number for this die pairing is RST-001.

It should be noted that Obverse 2 is similar to the doubled die obverse of FS-1102 in regard to the formation of die chips around 'LI(B)E(R)TY'.  However, Obverse 2 lacks the Class VI Hub Doubling that is manifested as a thickening of the digits of the date of FS-1102.  Despite the differences between Obverse 1 and the obverse of FS-1102, Jason has identified some 1909 VDB Variety 1 cents encased in PCGS, NGC and Anacs slabs with FS-1102 on the label.
