Obverse 96 is identified by date placement at C and date repunching that features initial date impressions located to the south below the base of the 1 digit; to the south below the upper loop and to the north as well as to the west of the ball of the 9 digit; above the 0 digit.  Obverse 96 as acquired clash marks from a clashing event with Reverse AAAX.

Reverse AAAX has acquired clash marks from a clashing event with Obverse 96 and has cracked.

Comments:  The Reverse AAAX die crack from 11:00 is quite light in comparison to the remaining die cracks.

Variety 101 was first identified by David Killough, who submitted the above plate coin during late June 2024 for inclusion in this book based on the date repunching of Obverse 96.
