Obverse 70 is identified by date placement at B, the tops of a misplaced 0 and 6 digits within the denticles below and to the left of the primary 0 and 6 of the date and date repunching that features initial date impressions to the north above the ball, to the west of the upper right corner of the lower loop and to the east within the lower loop of the 9.

Reverse AAT is rotated 7 degrees clockwise.

Comments:  The Obverse 70 date repunching of the 9 was previously unidentified prior to publication in this book.

Obverse 70 will later be in service paired with Reverse AAAV during the 1906 Variety 99 Die Pairing.
