Clash Mark Through C of CENT |
Obverse 4 is identified by repunching to the north and south on the
crossbar of the 4, with date placement at RE. Obverse 4 has
developed moderately heavy die flow lines.
Reverse D is in a similar die state as obverse 4, with the advancement
of moderately heavy die flow lines. Reverse D has acquired a light die clash through the C of CENT.
Comments: Prior
to the publication of this page, there was no mention of the additional
repunching to the north on the 4 of obverse 4.
Variety 4 is found well struck and may be located without too much difficulty.
