Variety 34
Obverse 39 is identified by date placement at C and date repunching
that features initial date impressions to the north within the lower
loop of the 9, to the south within the 0 and to the south at the base
of the final 1. Obverse 39 has developed moderately heavy to heavy die
flow lines.
Reverse AM is rotated 5 degrees clockwise and is in a similar die state
as Obverse 39, with the advancement of moderately heavy to heavy die
flow lines.
Comments: Variety 34 was
first identified by David Killough, who submitted the above plate coin
during mid May 2018 for inclusion in this book based on the Obverse 39
date repunching.
