Obverse 37 is identified by date placement at RE and date repunching that features initial date impressions to the south within the upper loop of the 9 and within the 0.  Obverse 37 has developed a small die break below the serif of the last 1 and heavy die flow lines.

Reverse AK is rotated 6 degrees clockwise and is in a similar die state as Obverse 37, with the advancement of heavy die flow lines.

Comments:  Obverse 37 is characterized by minor initial date impressions, with a small break below the serif of the last 1 that gives the appearance of an additional initial date impression.  The small die break below the serif of the last 1 is most likely a product of the advanced die state of Obverse 37.

Variety 32 was first identified by David Killough, who submitted the above plate coin during mid May 2018 for inclusion in this book based on the Obverse 37 date repunching.
