Obverse 56 is identified by date placement at LH, a die file mark extending from the denticles above 'UNIT(E)D' and date repunching that features an initial date impression to the north within the lower loop of the first 9 digit. Obverse 56 is observed with an artifact within the lower loop of the second 9.  Obverse 56 acquired clash marks from a clashing event with Reverse AAD and has developed rim breakage between 7:00 and 9:30.

Reverse AAD is observed with an artifact among the upper vertical shield bars.  Reverse AAD has acquired clash marks from a clashing event with Obverse 56 and has developed two rim breaks at 11:00.

Comments:   The above plate coin was submitted by Jason Huffman during late January 2024 for inclusion in this book based on the clash marks acquired by Obverse 56 and Reverse AAD.  Upon examination of Jason's coin, I was able to identify additional working die artifacts in the form of date repunching and a die file mark extendig from the denticles above 'UNIT(E)D'.
