Obverse 55 is identified by date placement at RH and date repunching
that features initial date impressions to the southeast within the
upper loops of the 8 and first 9 digits.
Reverse AAC is rotated 4 degrees clockwise.
Comments:
Although both Obverse 55 and Reverse AAC exhibit late die states,
Reverse AAC appears to be the more advanced in die state of the two.
Variety 51 was first identified by David Killough, who
submitted the above plate coin during mid August 2023 for inclusion in
this book based on the date repunching of Obverse 55.
