 Clash Mark Through C of CENT |  Die Flow Lines |
Obverse 39 is identified by repunching to the north on the last 9, with
date placement at RH. Obverse 39 is observed with moderately
heavy die flow lines.
Reverse
AM is observed with a clash mark through the C of CENT. Reverse
AM is in a similar die state as obverse 39, with the advancement of
moderately heavy die flow lines.
Comments: Variety 39 was
initially identified by Ed Nathanson. Ed was very kind in
allowing me to use his images to illustrate variety 35 for this
web-book.
