Obverse 49 is identified by date placement at C and date repunching that features initial date impressions to the southwest within the lower loop of the 8, to the southwest below the base of the 9 and to the south below the flag of the 7.

Reverse AW has yet to be observed with any die markers.

Comments: Variety 47 was first identified by David Killough, who submitted the above plate coin during early July 2022 for inclusion in this book based on the date repunching of Obverse 49.
