Reverse H Die Crack Mapping

Obverse 8 is identified by date placement at C and date repunching that features initial date impressions to the south below the serif and base of the 1, to the south within both loops and below the base of the 8, to the north above the tops of the 9 and 7.  Obverse 8 is observed die polish lines.

Reverse H is rotated 7 degrees clockwise and is observed with die polish lines.  Reverse H has developed the following die cracks:
1.  Light radial die crack from the denticles at 12:30 extends downward through the tip of the right wreath, through ON(E) and CEN(T) and through the top arrowhead to the middle arrow shaft.
2.  Light die crack from the rim at 4:15 extends upward into the lowest arrowhead.
3.  Light die crack from the denticles at 4:45 extends upward into the right ribbon end.
4.  Light die crack from the denticles at 5:15 extends upward into the wreath stem.
5.  Light die crack from the denticles at 7:00 extends upward into the arrow quill.
6.  Light die crack from the denticles at 8:00 extends upward into the top olive leaf.
7.  Radial die crack segment extends upward from the olive leaves and continues through (C)ENT AND (O)NE.

Comments:  The Obverse 8 initial date impressions above the 9 and 7 were previously unidentified prior to publication in this book.
