Reverse V Die Crack Mapping


Obverse 21 is identified by date placement at C and date repunching that features an initial date impression to the east within the upper loop of the 6.

Reverse V has developed a retained cud between 3:30 and 4:45 as well as the following die cracks:
1.  Die crack from the retained cud extending upward through the outer edge of the right wreath.
2.  Die crack segment from the top olive leaf extends upward through the left wreath.

Comments:  The above plate coin, which represents the latest die state yet identified from the Variety 18 Die Pairing, was first identified by this author during mid June 2022.
