Obverse 26 is observed with date placement at C.  Obverse 26 has acquired clash marks from a clashing event with Reverse X and has developed die cracking.

Reverse X has acquired clash marks from a clashing event with Obverse 26.  Reverse X has developed die cracking and two rim breaks, with one located between 5:15 and 5:45 and the second located between 8:00 and 8:15.

Comments:  Variety 24 represents the latest die of Reverse X yet identified, with Reverse X now developing rim breakage and the die cracking on the left side bcoming more severe compared to previous die states.

Variety 24 was first identified by David Killough, who submitted the above plate coin during early December 2022 for inclusion in this book based on the die cracking of Variety 24 and the rim breakage of Reverse X.
