Comments:  Variety 28 was first identified by David Killough, who submitted the discovery coin grading G6 during late August 2019 for inclusion in this book based on the misplaced digit of Obverse 30. During mid May 2020, David submitted the above plate coin to replace the former Variety 28 Plate Coin.
