Radial Die Crack From 6:30

Clash Mark In Front Of Eye

Obverse 25 is observed with date placement at LE.  Obverse 25 has acquired a clash mark in front of the eye and has developed moderately heavy die flow lines and the following die cracks:
1.  Radial die crack from the rim at 3:45 through the R of AMERICA and into the eighth feather.
2.  Radial die crack from the rim at 6:30 through the 1 of date and into the portrait, where it extends into the neck.

Reverse Y is in a similar die state as Obverse 25, with the advancement of moderately heav die flow lines.

Comments:  The above plate coin was submitted by David Killough during mid January 2018 and represents an incrementally earlier die state of Obverse 25 prior to the eventual formation of a die break between the 1 digit of the date and the bust point.  The Obverse 25 die state with the die break was initially identified by Mark Entman and attributed by Rick Snow as Snow 19.  David's submission is important as it provides an insight into the eventual formation of the Obverse 25 die break.

I assume both Obverse 25 and Reverse Y lightly clashed during Variety 25.  The  Obverse 25 clash mark was very light and I suspect the same is true for Reverse Y, though I was unable to find one for Reverse Y.
