Obverse 66 is identified by date placement at LH and date repunching that features initial date impressions to the south within the upper loops of the second 8 and 9 digits of the date.  Obverse 66 is observed with a die line located within the lower loop of the first 8 digit of the date.

Reverse AAM is observed with artifacts among the vertical shield bars.

Comments:   Obverse 66 may feature additional initial date impressions within both loops of the second 8 digit and within the lower loop of the 9 digit, though a higher grade example will be necessary to confirm this.

Variety 65 was first identified by David Killough, who submitted the above plate coin during early December 2022 for inclusion in this book based on the date repunching of Obverse 66.
