Die Crack Extending Downward From Cud

Obverse 38 is observed with date placement at C.

Reverse AM has developed a cud between 8:45 and 10:00 and the following die crack:
1.  Die crack extending downward from the cud and continuing along the outer edge of the wreath.

Comments:  Variety 33 was first identified by Robert Lutzel, who generously granted this author permission to use his images during late January 2021.  The Reverse AM cud was first illustrated in 'The Cud Book' by Sam Thurman and Arnold Margolis, with a reference number of 1C-1887-3R.

The Reverse AM cud is very similar in size and location to the cud of Reverse AK from the 1887 Variety 31 Die Pairing.
