Reverse AG Die Crack Mapping

Obverse 33 is observed with date placement at LE.

Reverse AG is observed with a die chip located at the base of  (O)NE and working die subsidence located at 6:00.  Reverse AG has developed a retained cud between 8:45 and 10:15 and the following die crack:
1.  Die crack from the bottom of the retained cud extends downward through the lower oak leaves and into the top olive leaf.
Rev. AG.2:  The retained portion of the Reverse AG break is absent.

Comments:  The Reverse AG.2 cud was first identified in 'The Cud Book' by Sam Thurman and Arnold Margolis, with a reference number of 1C-1883-1R.

During mid August 2022, this author identified an example of Variety 28 with Reverse AG featuring a retained cud.  This example is the Variety 28 Plate Coin in order to capture the Reverse AG retained break.

Plate Coin (Variety 28):  D. Poliquin Collection, AU55 Details
Plate Coin (Variety 28a):  Former D. Poliquin Collection, G4
