Obverse 10 is observed with date placement at RH. Obverse 10
has developed a small die break adjacent to the hair curl above the
ribbon.
Reverse K is rotated 7 degrees clockwise. Rev. K.2:
Reverse K has developed the following die cracks:
1. Die crack from the rim at 12:45 extends across the top of
the shield and exits into the denticles at 11:30.
2. Die crack from the rim at 3:45 extends into the lowest oak
leaf of the right wreath and splits, with one moderately heavy crack
extending upward along the outer edge of the wreath and the other, a light crack,
extending downward through the lower arrowheads.
3. Light die crack segment from the olive leaves extends
upward through the left wreath to a point at 9:15.
4. Die crack from the denticles at 9:15 extends upward along
the outer edge of the left wreath. Rev. K.3:
Reverse K has developed a retained cud between 2:30 and 3:45.
Comments: The
Obverse 10 die break has acquired the moniker 'Earring' due to its
similarity to an earring.
