Reverse U.2 Die Crack Mapping

Obverse 23 is identified by date placement at LE and the tops of misplaced 8, 7 and 5 digits among the denticles below and to the left of the primary 8, 7 and 5 digits of the date.

Reverse U is rotated 7 degrees clockwise and develops the following die cracks:
1.  Light die crack from the denticles at 12:45 into the top right of the shield.
2.  Light die crack from 2:00 to 2:45 at the outer edge of the right wreath.
3.  Die crack from the rim at 5:30 upward through the left ribbon end and olive leaves.
4.  Light die crack from 10:45 downward through the outer edge of the left wreath.
Reverse U.2:  The Reverse U die cracks have now become incrementally more severe.  In addition, Die Crack #3 now extends into the rim at 7:30 and Die Crack #4 extends further downward into the top olive leaf.

Comments:  The Obverse 23 misplaced digits are the result of a misplaced digit punch impression that was far to the southwest with respect to the final date placement.
