Obverse 13 is observed with date placement at LE.

Reverse S has developed a retained cud between 8:30 and 10:30. Reverse S has developed the following die crack:
1. Die crack from the retained cud at 9:45 extends upward along the outer edge of the left wreath.

Comments: Variety 13 was first identified in 'The Cud Book' by Sam Thurman and Arnold Margolis, with a reference number of IC-1873-1R. The above plate coin is the IC-1873-1R Plate Coin in 'The Cud Book'.
