Cud between 7:00 and 7:45

Die Crack Connecting Tops of UNITED

Reverse Diagnostics


Die Crack from 3:30 to the lowest Arrowhead

Die Crack from 10:30 to Middle Olive Leaf

Die Crack from 11:30

Obverse 2 is observed with date placement at B.  Obverse 2 develops a cud between 7:00 and 7:45 and the following die crack:
1.  Die crack from the cud connects the tops of UNITED.

Type III reverse B is rotated 14 degrees clockwise.  Type III reverse B develops the following die cracks:
1.  Die crack from 3:30 down through the wreath to the lowest arrowhead.
2.  Die crack from 10:30 down through the wreath to the middle olive leaf.  The die crack creates a bi-level field at 10:30.
3.  Die crack from 11:30 into the top left of the shield.

Comments:  Variety 1 was first seen by this author during early July 2015.
