Bulged Right Pennant on T of CENT


Obverse 1 is identified by a die scratch to the right of the Y of LIBERTY in the headband.  Obverse 1 is observed with date placement at RE.

Type II reverse A is identified by a bulging right pennant on the T of CENT.

Comments:  The 1872 proof 1 was the only die pair striking proof cents in 1872.
