Reverse F Die Crack Mapping


Obverse 6 is identified by date placement at RE and date repunching that features initial date impressions to the north above the upper and lower loops of the 6, as well as to the north above the upper loop, within both loops and above the ball of the 9.  Obverse 6 has acquired clash marks.

Reverse F has acquired clash marks and has developed the folllowing die cracks:
1.  Die crack from the denticles at 1:00 extends downward along the outer edge of the right wreath.
2.  Die crack from the rim at 3:30 extends downward through the middle and lower arrowheads.
3.  Die crack from the rim at 9:30 extends upward through the outer edge of the left wreath.

Comments:  Higher grade examples of Obverse 6 will exhibit an additional initial date impressions to the north above the right side of the lower loop of the 8.
