Obverse 36 is identified by date placement at RH and lint hub-throughs located at the base of the eye, among the feathers and within the denticles.  Obverse 36 has acquired clash marks in front of the eye of Miss Liberty, above the first three feathers, between feathers 5 through 9 and among the letters of 'AMERICA'.  Obverse 36 has developed a rim break between 1:30 and 2:30, as well as the following die cracks:
1.  Die crack segment connecting the tops of 'OF'.
2.  Die crack segment above 'A(M)ERICA'.
3.  Die crack from the denticles at 6:45 connects the bases of the 1, 8 and 6 of the date.
4.  Die crack segment connects 'UNITE(D)' and '(S)TATES'.
5.  Die crack from the denticles at 9:45 extends upward and connects the tops of 'S(TA)TES'.

Reverse AAM is rotated 6 degrees clockwise and has acquired clash marks that are located to the right of CEN(T).

Comments:  Variety 43 was first identified by David Killough, who submitted the above plate coin during early July 2022 for inclusion in this book based on the lint hub-throughs of Obverse 36.  Upon examination of David's example, I observed that Obverse 36 exhibited a more advanced die state compared to Reverse AAM.  This die state difference between Obverse 36 and Reverse AAM indicates Obverse 36 was previously in service prior to Variety 43.
