Obverse 63 is identified by date placement at RH and date repunching that features an initial date impression located to the west of the upright of the 4 digit.  Obverse 63 has acquired clash marks, exhibits heavily flow lined surfaces and has developed rim breakage between 11:45 and 5:30 as well as the following die cracks:
1.  Die crack segment extending upward through the bust point and along the base of the portrait.
2.  Die crack from the rim at 7:00 extends through the digits of the date.
Obv. 63.2:  Obverse 63 has developed additional rim breakage above 'AMER(IC)A'.

Reverse AAAX has acquired clash marks and has developed the following die cracks:
1.  Light die crack from the rim at 2:15 extends upward along the outer edge of the upper right wreath.
2.  Die crack segment along the outer edge of the right wreath just above the middle arrowhead.
3.  Die crack from the rim at 4:30 extends through the right ribbon end.
Rev. AAAX.2:  Die crack #1 has become incrementally more severe and Reverse AAAX has developed the following additional die crack:
4.  Die crack from the rim at 10:00 extends downward into the left wreath.

Comments:   Obverse 63 features a later die state compared to Reverse AAAX, which would indicate Obverse 63 was in service prior to Variety 45.

Variety 45 was first identified by David Killough, who submitted the above plate coin during mid August 2023 for inclusion in this book based on the date repunching of Obverse 63.  The Variety 45a Die State was identified by this author during late August 2023.
