Comments:
Date placement is LH. Obverse 20 is characterized by
repunching to the north on the 86 of the date, with a small die chip
off the base of the 3. The repunching is smillar to variety 17, but
the date placements as well as the aforementioned die chip
differentiate the two obverses.
Reverse
V develops die cracks from the rim at 11:00 through the shield, from
shield through the right wreath, from the wreath knot through the olive
leaves to the rim at 7:00 and a die crack through much of the left
wreath according to Rick Snow. The die crack at the wreath knot
is heavy and considering the degradation of the reverse compared to the
fresher obverse, I would expect to find another reverse paired with
obverse 20.
