Obverse 106 is observed with date placement at RH.

Reverse AAAAJ is observed with numerous lint hub-throughs within the wreath as well as within the shield.  Reverse AAAAJ has cracked, with the primary die crack located between 8:30 and 10:00.

Comments:   Variety 112 was first identified by David Killough, who submitted the above plate coin during late June 2024 for inclusion in this book based on the die cracking of Reverse AAAAJ.

Reverse AAAAJ will later develop a moderately sized die chip that connects the primary die crack with the oak leaf at 9:45.  In addition, the Reverse AAAAJ denticles at 10:00 become offset.  It should be noted that there is no appreciable increase in severity of the primary die crack during this later die state compared to the image above, though there is a possibility that Reverse AAAAJ may yet be found with a break between 8:30 and 10:00.
