Obverse 103 is identified by date placement at RH and date repunching that features an initial date impression to the west within the lower loop of the 3 digit.  Obverse 103 has lightly cracked and is observed with numerous die lines among the lower section of the lower hair curls.

Reverse AAAAF is rotated 7 degrees counter clockwise.  Reverse AAAAF has cracked and a die chip is observed at 9:30 of the left wreath.

Comments:   Variety 108 was first identified by Jamie Morris, who submitted the above plate coin during early February 2024 for inclusion in this book based on the date repunching of Obverse 103.

Obverse 103 will return to service paired with Reverse AAAAI during the 1863 Variety 111 Die Pairing.
