Obverse 98 is identified by date placement at C and artifacts located in front of the eye, from the right side of the first hair curl, from the bottom of the ear lobe and a long artifact from the jaw line that extends diagonally downward through the top of the first diamond of the ribbon and through the lower hair curls.

Reverse AAAZ is rotated 9 degrees clockwise.

Comments:  I suspect that the Obverse 98 artifact located within the lower portrait is the result of a hub-through that occurred during the hubbing of Obverse 98.

Variety 102 was first identified by David Killough, who submitted the above plate coin during early July 2022 for inclusion in this book based on the portrait artifacts of Obverse 98.
