Obverse 97 is observed with date placement at LH and a raised artifact located on the neck of Miss Liberty.
Reverse AAAX is observed with a raised linear artifact extending
downward from the denticles at 11:15 and continuing into the top of the
left wreath. Reverse AAAX has developed the following die cracks: 1.
Moderately heavy die crack from the rim at 1:30 extends downward
through the right wreath and exits into the rim at 3:45. 2. Die crack from the rim at 3:45 extends into the tip of the middle arrowhead. 3. Die crack segment extends along the bottom of the oak leaf that is located above the middle arrowhead. 4. Die crack from the rim at 7:45 extends across through the olive leaves and ribbon knot. 5. Die crack from the denticles at 10:45 extends downward through the outer edge of the left wreath.

Variety 100 was first identified by David Killough, who submitted
the above plate coin during early January 2022 for inclusion in this
book based on the Obverse 97 raised artifact on the neck of Miss
Liberty and the die cracking of Reverse AAAX.
