Obverse 21 is identified by date placement at RH and date repunching that features initial date impressions to the northwest above the serif of the 1, within the lower loop of the 9, within the 0 and within the lower loop of the 8.  Obverse 21 has developed moderately heavy die flow lines.

Reverse U is in a similar die state as Obverse 21, with the advancement of moderately heavy die flow lines.

Comments:  During publication of this die pairing, I discovered an additional initial date impression above the serif of the 1 that was previously unidentified.  This impression artifact may be easily missed, since it is not as wide from the final date placement impressions compared to the other initial date impressions.

Obverse 21 features a low date, with the base of the 1 very close to the denticles.  As a result, denticle distortion occurred below the base of the 1 due to the displacement of metal during the final digit punch impression of the date into the working die.
