Reverse AP.2 Die Crack Mapping

Obverse 42 is identified by date placement at LH and date repunching that features two sets of initial date impressions to the south of the base of the 1 digit as well as initial date impressions to the south below the upper loop and below the lower loop of the 9 digit.  Obverse 42 is observed with a possible misplaced digit among the denticles below the 0 of the date and an artifact within the lower hair curl.  Obverse 42 has acquired clash marks from a clashing event with Reverse AP.

Reverse AP is rotated 7 degrees clockwise and is identified by Class II Hub Doubling of the oak leaf veins and outside edges of the outer oak leaves of the right wreath.  Reverse AP has acquired clash marks from a clashing event with Obverse 42.
Reverse AP.2:  Reverse AP has developed the following die crack:
1.  Die crack from the rim at 2:30 extends downward through the right wreath.

Comments:  I have included the date repunching from both the Variety 40 and 40a Plate Coins since the initial date impression of the 9 digit was not clear as it was on the Variety 40a Plate Coin.  In addition, I have also included images of the possible mispalced digit among the denticles from both the Variety 40 and 40a Plate Coin in order to illustrate the difference in the denticle appearance.
