Reverse AAA Die Crack Mapping

Partial Cud Between 2:30 and 3:45

Die Crack From 6:00

Die Cracking From 9:00

Obverse 52 is observed with date placement at B.

Reverse AAA has developed the following die cracks:
1.  Die crack between 2:30 and 3:45 that has become a partial cud.
2.  Die crack from the denticles at 6:00 upward through the ribbon end.
3.  Die crack from the rim at 9:00 upward through the wreath.  A small break forms at 9:15 in the field to the left of the wreath.

Comments:  Based on the severity of the Reverse AAA area between 2:30 and 3:45, a subsequent die state will most likely develop a break in this area.

Variety 52 was first identified by this author during early August 2018.

Plate coin:  Keith Bock Collection, XF40
