The second usage of Obverse 11.   Obverse 11 is identified by date placement at C and the tops of two sets of misplaced 8, 9 and 1 digits among the denticles below the 8, 9 and 1 digits of the date.  During this second usage of Obverse 11, the tops of the misplaced 9 and 1 digits are not discernible and the top of the misplaced 8 digit is no longer visible due to the deterioration of Obverse 11.  In addition, Obverse 11 has now developed the following die crack:
1.  Die crack from the rim at 4:00 extends upward through the tops of 'A(MER)ICA'.

Reverse AN may be identified by a die line within the ribbon bow.  Reverse AN has acquired a clash mark from a clashing event during its previous assignment.

Comments:  Obverse 11 was previously in service paired with Reverse K during the 1891 Variety 8 Die Pairing.

Variety 37 was first identified by this author during early April 2004.
